Objective of Abhinandan Education Loan Subsidy Scheme 2.0
The main objective of this scheme is to offer financial aid for student loans taken out for higher education. The government would use this scheme to provide a Rs.50,000 subsidy on any student loans taken out for study by citizens of Assam. A minimum sum of Rs.2 lakh in education debt is required in order to qualify for the benefits of the scheme. They have already disbursed these fifty thousand rupees to the five thousand Assam students who took out loans to finance their postsecondary education.
