- A minimum of three months of instruction from an accredited institution (such RSETI, PMKVY, DDUGKY or BSDM) is required of the candidate. Trades include mobile repair, sewing, plumbing, beauticians and electricians, among others.
- At least six months must have passed since the applicant’s registration with the District Employment Office.
- Special consideration is given to women, transgender people, Divyangjan, EWS, OBC and SC/ST.
