Bima Sakhi Yojana
Indian Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi will visit Haryana Panipat to declare the start of the Bima Sakhi Yojana. The government would also give all female citizens participating in the LIC agent program a stipend to help them become financially independent throughout their training. In the first, second and third years, those selected will get stipends of 7000, 6000 and 5000 rupees, respectively. The yojana assistance is available to any Indian women who have completed the 10th grade and are between the ages of 18 and 70.

What is LIC?
