The Telangana state government introduced the Netannaku Bharosa Scheme 2025 to offer financial aid to its people who are engaged in the weaving industry as weavers or aligned workers. Netannaku Bharosa Scheme 2025
The State government introduced the Netannaku Bharosa scheme giving each handloom weaver Rs.18,000 in financial aid annually and Rs.6,000 to the employees in the handloom centers. In order to help at least 40,000 weavers, the government released rules for the scheme’s implementation. The beneficiary’s account will receive the benefit which will be paid out in two payments. According to State Agriculture and Handlooms Minister Tummala Nageshwara Rao, the government has released rules to implement the scheme starting on June 2 since it is dedicated to the welfare of weavers. The scheme also received a budget allocation of Rs 48 crore.
The benefits of the scheme will also be extended to handloom workers using geo-tagged looms. The beneficiaries would also include workers who are 18 years of age or older and who operate geo-tagged looms as well as those who perform pre loom, preparatory tasks including dyeing, tying, designing, warping, winding, sizing and so on.
