PM YASASVI Merit List 2025
The Minister of Social Justice & Empowerment is leading the Prime Minister’s Young Achievers Scholarship Award Scheme for Vibrant India (PM YASASVI) as it enters its 2025 phase. Objective of PM YASASVI 2025
The main objective of the scheme is to reward and encourage high-quality education among OBC, EBC and DNT students by offering them complete financial assistance. The scheme would pay for OBC, EBC and DNT students who want to continue their education beyond Class XII.
Benefits
- Students from OBC, EBC and DNT categories who do not fall within the SC, ST or OBC categories are intended to receive financial aid for their education under the PM YASASVI scheme.
- The scholarship offers up to Rs.75,000 per year to students in Classes 9 and 10 and up to Rs.1,25,000 per year to students in Classes 11 and 12.
- Tuition, housing expenses and costs for books and stationery are all covered by the scholarship.
Eligibility Criteria
- The applicant must live in India.
- The applicant must fall within the DNT, EBC or OBC classifications.
- The parents’ or guardians’ yearly income shouldn’t be more than Rs.2.5 lakhs.
- must be enrolled in a designated school’s Class IX or Class XI at the moment.
- Enrollment at government schools is mandatory.
- A valid UDISE (Unique District Information System for Education) or AISHE (All India Survey on Higher Education) code is required for students enrolled in professional courses at their educational institution.
